Auction Terms and Conditions
1. REGISTRATION: All bidders must complete the registration process in order to participate in
The duPont REGISTRY Direct auction. Only registered bidders will have the right to assert ownership over the vehicles. If
assistance or expedited approval is required, please contact duPont REGISTRY Direct Auction. Our customer service team will provide guidance and assistance throughout the registration procedure.
Licensed dealers should have their Dealer License ID and expiration date available. Private
customers must provide their drive r's license and its expiration date. The government-issued
photo ID must match the buyer 's information and be presented during payment for verification
purposes.
2. BIDDING PROCESS: To place a bid, log in to dupontregistry.com . Click the & quot;View & quot;
button to see the vehicles currently running in the auction. Start bidding. Please note that if a bid
is placed within 90 seconds of the auction ending, extra time will automatically be added.
3. WINNING NOTIFICATION: To determine if you have won any vehicles, log back into your
account. The website will display any vehicles won. Please ensure you are the highest bidder.
Additionally, you will receive an email with further instructions and next steps. Alternatively, you
can choose to receive text notifications regarding your bidding status.
4. IF BIDS: An IF Bid, also known as a Proxy Bid or Maximum Bid, allows you to set the
maximum amount you are willing to bid on a vehicle. The system will automatically increase
your bid incrementally up to your maximum amount, as needed, to keep you in the lead. This
feature enables you to be an active participant during the auction, even if you are not able to
monitor and place bids in real-time.
5. AUCTION FEES: Winning bidders will be responsible for paying a buyer & #39;s premium and any applicable transaction fees. The buyer 's premium is a percentage of the winning bid amount and will vary depending on the final selling price of the vehicle. This premium will be added to the final purchase price. Additional transaction fees may apply, depending on the mode of payment chosen by the buyer.
6. PAYMENT: Payment must be made in full within the designated time frame specified in the
Auction 's terms and conditions. Accepted forms of payment include cashier 's check, ACH transfer, wire transfer, or approved financing. Personal checks, credit cards, and cash payments are not accepted. Failure to make payment within the specified timeframe may result in the cancellation of the sale and forfeiture of any deposits or fees paid.
7. VEHICLE PICKUP/DELIVERY: The winning bidder is responsible for arranging and covering
the cost of vehicle pickup or delivery. duPont REGISTRY Direct Auction may provide assistance in organizing transportation services if requested, but all associated fees will be the responsibility of the buyer. The vehicle will not be released until full payment has been received and cleared. Buyers should inspect and verify the condition and accuracy of the vehicle before taking possession.
8. TITLE TRANSFER: Once full payment has been received and cleared,duPont REGISTRY Direct Auction will initiate the title transfer process. Depending on your location and the vehicle 's title status, this process may take a few days to complete. duPont REGISTRY Direct Auction will provide the necessary documentation and support to ensure a smooth and legal title transfer.
9. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES: All vehicles are sold "AS IS " and & quot;WHERE IS, " without any warranty or guarantee, either expressed or implied. duPont REGISTRY DirectAuction makes no representations or warranties of any kind, including but not limited to the accuracy or completeness of any vehicle information, condition, or history. Bidders are encouraged to inspect the vehicle, request vehicle reports, and perform their due diligence before placing a bid.
10. AUCTION CANCELLATION: duPont REGISTRY Direct Auction reserves the right to cancel or reschedule an auction at any time for any reason without prior notice. In the event of a cancellation, all bids will be void and any payments made will be refunded.
11. DISPUTES/RESOLUTION: In the event of any dispute or claim arising out of or relating to
the auction or any vehicle purchased, the parties involved agree to resolve the matter through
arbitration. The arbitration will be conducted in accordance with the rules and regulations of the
American Arbitration Association. The decision of the arbitrator shall be final and binding on all
parties involved.
12. MODIFICATION OF RULES: duPont REGISTRY Direct Auction reserves the right to modify or amend these auction rules at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be posted on the auction website, and all bidders are responsible for regularly reviewing the rules and terms.
By participating in the auction, bidders acknowledge and agree to abide by these auction rules
and terms. Failure to comply with these rules may result in disqualification from current and
future auctions and may also incur additional penalties and liabilities.
